Also they have a a measuring tape and body chart so you can track progress if you wish. It comes with a workout schedule and what routines to do what days. I would recommend doing a few episodes on youtube to see if you like it before buying the DVDs. There is a little bit of jumping, but they have a modified version of all the moves that you can do too. Its not particularly loud, you can even put on subtitles. She does it religiously everyday and I see a visible difference, I am actually quite jealous. I haven't been doing it for that long but my sister has and i try to do it with her when I can. It is very fun and you will definitely break a sweat! Though my dancing skills have not improved (my fault, not the DVDs), i can see a difference. I literally just got done with my Hip Hop Abs workout. I prefer videos instead of just images because they're easier to follow :)
Happy to take other suggestions as well :) Just has to be a low impact and FREE program I can do at home. Just wondering how you feel afterwards (I still have to look after my 3 young kids the next day :P) and if it's a decent burn :) I'm not looking to burn HUGE calories, even a 150-200cal workout would be just fine for me. I happened to stumble across Hip Hop Abs on Youtube, and it looks fun. Not looking to get ripped, just firm things up a bit :) especially in my tummy area. So I'm looking for something that's fairly low impact and, more importantly, FUN! I've managed very well on 90% diet this far (36lbs down in 10 weeks), but I realize that diet will only take me so far and I'd like to get some toning in as well. When I started my weight loss, I was doing Jillian Michael's Shred workout, and I really liked it, but it was really hard on my knees (childhood injury unrelated to weight) and it caused some issues with our roommate because there's only so quiet one can be doing jumping jacks. I've noticed my weightloss slowing down, mostly because of an unavoidable (temporary) diet change, and.honestly, I don't like it XD Just wondering if anyone has done this workout and what they thought of it.
